This (see title) can cause the absence, the offset of verses or chapters in Equipd. The numbering of Equipd based with the NWT. Let's try to make the list of all offset, to make corrections needed in files!

Sources: Introduction of the Bible: "Segond 21", notes of the "Bible en Français Courant", Psalms#Numbering on Wikipedia and what I found!

I don't quite understand this Gabriel. Do you have a specific version or edition to look at as an example?

Do you mean that the verses being shown in Equipd Bible are wrong for a specific epub file? If so please just tell me which one so I can take a look.

Old versions of the Bible have a different numbering. As the original Hebrew texts. In WLC and BCC1923, for example. Take in Equipd Daniel 5:31 : "-". In others version "And Darius de Mede received the kingdon (...)", look after 6:1 in WLC or BCC 1923, it is 5:31 in others version. and the rest of Chapter 6 will be shifted. and therefore lack the last verse. In several versions I've done, this is the problem that I have to correct.

(the verse division generally accepted in Bible translations was already established in the 16th century) - http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1001061203#h=17

I see. Thanks for clarifying. So it is not something I need to fix in the app which was my main concern :) It is something to keep in mind / help those who are generating their own EPUB files.

    Thanks for sharing @Gabriel.

I remember when I was young and I went to a Bible study, it was often the problem! Now the list!))) And useful for a language I do not understand as Hebrew!)))

Actually I noticed this yesterday. We are in a Hebrew pre-group. The superscription in most Bibles for the Psalms is verse 1 in the Hebrew Bible, which means the other verses are offset by 1. The consequence is that scriptures such as Psalm 83:18 do not display in Hebrew in Equipd Bible as it is actually verse 19 in the Hebrew Bible. Not sure if anything can be done about this. But thanks for considering this.

RST or FLS it are good samples to see what to do
not only for the Psalms but for the majority of the list I made.
I do the same for my file OSM+S (Is it WLC + Strong).
I still have to do it for many versions I did.

Hi, I just wanted to follow up on the issue of the WLC Hebrew Bible with the verses being out of synch in the psalms. Has this been resolved? Has the WLC EPub been updated? I just wanted to check whether I need to do anything, or is this still something pending. Thanks for all your support.

I don't know, if not, I can look for, but I prefer the WLC + Strong, you not? I did the corrections for WLC+S

Hi @darylpro - does Gabriel's ePub help? As for the answer to your question I have not had a chance to do anything with this yet sorry. Let me know if Gabriel's EPUB helps and if so, I might make that the official version and remove mine ;)
